chop.at is a free URL shortening service provided by ambience networks. Just like any other URL shortening service, you can use it for saving letters at Twitter, for sanitizing insanely long and weird URLs to send them via email, chat, whatever.

chop.at is absolutely free of charge and does not need any registration! We also do not save any other data of your visitors than the countries they're coming from and the time they came.
This data will also be discarded every first of each month. Only IPs saved (for 7 days max.) are those of the creators (or owners) of the links.

However: You can register to make the stats of your links private so only you can see them. Registered users also have a list of all their links, so they can be found and managed easily.
